And this has nothing todo with you using reiserfs as the underlying
filesystem, or having /vservers/NEWSERVER on another filesystem as the
TEMPLATEvserver?

It is (still) not posible to use hardlinks under Reiserfs, sorry
(Alltough I have read somewhere that the 'latest' reiser versions can do
hardlinks....)
