Features of the User Interface
The reseller can apply any restrictions to these features.
- E-mail management
Users can set up POP3 boxes and e-mail aliases. E-mail aliases can forward to POP3 boxes or to existing e-mail
addresses. Catch-all aliases () can be set up for each of the user’s domains. An e-mail address can forward to up
to 10 other e-mail addresses or POP3 boxes.
- Language
Each user can select and save a preferred language for the Confixx interface.
- Change password
The passwords for FTP users, users of the Confixx interface, FrontPage, database users, POP3 boxes, Webalizer
stats or for protected directories can be changed from the interface.
- Sub-domains & domain rules
Sub-domains can be set up for all domains. Domains and sub-domains can be linked to any directories within the
home directory. A wildcard entry (*.domain.nic) can be set up for a sub-domain as well.
- Webalizer stats
The graphical Webalizer evaluation can be called up by clicking on a link. The stats are password-protected. The
password can be changed independently of the main user password.
- MySQL databases
Users can set up or delete MySQL databases on their own.
- Password-protected directories can be created.
- Individual error files
Can be easily set up from an interface.
- FTP users
Users can set up additional FTP users.
- Special login for FTP and POP3 users
Confixx offers interfaces with limited access to FTP and POP3 users. These interfaces allow only the changing of
the user password and access to WebMail or WebFTP. This enables users to assign FTP or POP users to third
parties without having to reveal their own password.
- WebMail
Web-interface for writing and reading e-mails in your browser. WebMail has an integrated address book and is able
to manage e-mail signatures.
- WebFTP
Web-interface used to upload and download files from the server. An FTP program is not required.
