Features of the Administrator (Admin) Interface
- Create resellers
There is no limit to the number of resellers that can be created with individual privileges. The following services
can be assigned to resellers with certain restrictions:
- Number of users
- Storage space/traffic
- Number of sub-domains
- Traffic
- E-mail addresses
- Autoresponders for e-mail addresses
- POP3 boxes
- Additional FTP users
- MySQL databases
- Pre-installed CGI scripts
The admin can determine whether the reseller is allowed to deliberately exceed the specified limits. If this happens,
the admin as well as the reseller will be informed accordingly. Resellers are given their own Confixx web interface
and do not require root privileges on the server.
- Personal data
Personal data can be entered for each reseller. This enables, for example, the simple allocation of system users to
users in the bookkeeping software.
- Circular to resellers
The admin is able to send an e-mail to all resellers simultaneously.
- Comprehensive stats showing services used by resellers and users
- Powerful evaluation of traffic
Detailed measuring of traffic divided into Web and FTP traffic for the entire server, for individual resellers up to the
single user. Traffic is evaluated and displayed graphically for entire months and individual days.
- Expanded HTTP entries
From the web-interface, the admin can add additional lines to the virtual host entries made to the web server’s
configuration file. The admin can select whether the entry should be made for all users, for all of a reseller’s users,
for an individual user or for individual domains.
- E-mail templates
When creating a reseller, a previously defined standard e-mail can be sent to the new reseller. The user name and
password can be automatically inserted into this e-mail.
- User assignment
- User can be moved from one reseller to another at a later time.
- Lock resellers
The admin can lock and unlock resellers and all of a reseller’s users. Any reseller that has been locked cannot log
onto the Confixx web-interface. Any users assigned to this reseller are also unable to log onto the Confixx web
interface; furthermore, FTP access as well as access to the POP3 boxes and the web pages of the locked users is
not possible, either.
