Traditionally, shared hosting has been extremely limited in the quality of performance it could provide, forcing HSP to offer dedicated hosting. This in turns adds significant capital expenditure to the business in terms of servers and space, and also increases general overheads (i.e., "the environmentals" and the dedicated technical staff).

Furthermore, as HSPcomplete allows to automate provisioning of applications, servers and other infrastructure elements and allows customers to access their Virtual Environments using the browser-based control panels, the location of the data centers will become less important, resulting in reduced capital expenditure.
