SWsoft Releases Virtuozzo 2.5

SWsoft says that a series of test have shown Virtuozzo 2.5 to be the most powerful server virtualization software for Intel Xeon processor-based servers, allowing up to 64GB of RAM and 16 CPUs per virtual environment. In stress testing on IBM and Dell hardware, Virtuozzo used the full potential of the Xeon-based servers, operating 2,500 virtual environments on a single server.

The Virtuozzo platform, says SWsoft is designed for use in enterprise server consolidation, software development systems, high-security and high-availability systems and as the backbone of the company’s HSPcomplete hosting automation solution.
