  Following consultation with the PAB and as a result of legal advice, Nominet is proposing to make the following changes to the Tag Holder Agreement:

Clause 1.8 - The Tag Holder no longer has a right to object to making a tag change promptly on the request of a Registrant.

Clause 1.9 - This new clause makes it clear that Nominet is entitled to make a tag change at the request of the Registrant.

Clause 2.1.4 - Whilst Tag Holders may charge a fee for any work involved in, say, changing a Tag, they may not use a domain name (or a tag) as security to prevent a Registrant from changing their agent.
