  Role

Responsible for dealing with a wide variety of enquiries from Internet Service Providers, end users and the general public, via the telephone, fax, email, and post.

Responsibilities

  • Providing information on general queries regarding domain names
     
  • Altering customer details where necessary for registration purposes
     
  • Investigating/ensuring correct authority to make changes
     
  • Dealing with Internet Service Provider disputes
     
  • Ensuring enquiries are always dealt with in a polite and professional manner
     
  • Working as part of a team to deliver departmental objectives

Requirements

  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
     
  • Organisation skills
     
  • Problem solving skills
     
  • Computer Literate
     
  • Able to work independently and on own initiative
     
  • Highly motivated team player
     
  • At least A level standard

Experience

Experience of working in a Customer Support Department is desirable as is having knowledge of the Internet industry.

Reporting and Remuneration

The Customer Support Advisor will report to the Customer Support Supervisors. This temporary position has a salary of £14-17K depending upon skills and experience.
