The Registration Department has a number of important functions:

• To complete the Domain Name registration process
   
• To provide formal confirmation to Registrants of their entitlement to hold a Domain Name
   
• To exercise quality control in terms of the accuracy and completeness of all information concerning a Domain Name registration.
   
• To arrange transfers of registrations
   
• To renew registrations at the end of the two year registration period
