The Payments Administration Assistant helps and offers support to the Payments team.

Responsibilities

  • Processing credit card payments
     
  • Issuing receipts
     
  • Entering data into spreadsheets
     
  • Taking and answering accounts queries on the telephone
     
  • Filing and general office duties
     
  • Ordering stationery.

Requirements

  • Experience of administration or accounts
     
  • Attention to detail
     
  • Good communication skills
     
  • Accurate data entry
     
  • Positive telephone manner
     
  • Knowledge of MS Word/Excel software
     
  • Flexibility and ability to fit in with a team

The Payments section is part of the busy Administration Department, dealing with all inward payments into the company.

Reporting and Remuneration

The administration assistant would be trained and monitored by the senior payments administrator and form part of a team of 5, reporting to the Administration Supervisor.

Salary scale is £12K-14k depending on skills and experience
