Specialist Areas: All areas of intellectual property, particularly internet-related disputes, trade marks, passing off, copyright and confidential information.

Relevant experience in domain name disputes: Substantial experience in relation to domain name disputes, including High Court proceedings, ICANN's Uniform Dispute Resolution Procedure and Nominet's current dispute resolution procedure. Submissions under the UDRP include Littlewoods v Gregg Moores (withdrawn following settlement); CMG Worldwide Inc v Bonnie Masterson (successfully defended complaint); Skipton Building Society v Peter Colman (successfully pursued complaint), Manchester Airport.com and. caledoniamotors.com (successfully acted for Claimant).

Other recent cases; Acted for successful party in Court of Appeal case of Arrow Nominees -v- Blackledge which has become a major decision relating to courts' powers to strike out cases under the Civil Procedure Rules. Also acted for successful defendants in case reported in Gee on Injunctions; J. Siddall & Co. v P. Simmons.

Ranked as leading individual in Chambers and The Legal 500.
