REVIEW OF DISPUTE RESOLUTION SERVICE
Nominet UK is reviewing its existing Dispute Resolution Service and proposals for a revised policy and procedure have undergone a 2-month public consultation.
Nominet extends its thanks to everyone who contributed to the public consultation that was held between 31 January and 31 March 2001. Feedback from stakeholders ranging from lawyers, trade associations, individual and corporate users of the service has been received. Full details are published on the consultation pages.
Nominet is now in the process of consolidating the feedback it received after which its Policy Advisory Board and Council of Management will consider the points raised and recommend the adoption of a refined service. It is envisaged that a new Dispute Resolution Service will be launched during autumn 2001.
