After processing your email request the Automaton produces and sends an automated email. There are four possible formats the email can take depending on the outcome of your request. These are shown below along with a list of possible errors. Please note that non fatal errors (warning messages) may be appended to these mails and are not shown here.

1. Domain Name Application Succeeded

Subject: myowndomain.co.uk ACCEPTED 

This is to inform you of the acceptance by Nominet UK of your application for a Domain Name under the terms and conditions. Nominet UK has entered myowndomain.co.uk in the Register of Domain Names as a pending registration. It will be converted to a full registration only upon payment of the appropriate fee by you or your appointed agent within a period of one month from the date of the relevant invoice and receipt by Nominet UK of the return portion of the registration certificate. If these conditions are not met the pending registration may be cancelled and the Domain Name may be registered subsequently by another applicant. Any use of the Domain Name by you will be regarded as indicative of your knowledge of and acceptance of these terms by whatever means your application has been made, including without restriction, application through the agency of a third party.
