I've had 2.4.16 working fine but I've been trying 2.4.17 for a couple of
days without problems. You're correct in that the patch file appears to work
on a .16 kernel not 17

My problem has been that the .16 appeared to support the SIS630 network
cards and now the .17 seems to have the SIS900 cards only and complains
about missing SIS commands.

My question would be will the v0.9 rpms work with the 2.4.16 kernel?
